While on duty at Red Rock Casino, Hrusovsky confronted a dangerous situation and stepped in to neutralize an assailant. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nJpgjyaNy0\">pic.twitter.com\/nJpgjyaNy0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Clark County Nevada (@ClarkCountyNV) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ClarkCountyNV\/status\/1846256044537749871?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 15, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The incident started when a guest started verbally berating casino workers, which led to the attacker stabbing two employees. Hrusovsky intervened and non-fatally shot the 25-year-old suspect once. He received widespread praise for his sharp actions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>agreed the prosecution possessed sufficient evidence to get a conviction<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The attacker, Shayne Sussmen, submitted a guilty by Alford plea on Tuesday to three counts of attempted murder. An Alford plea means that although he didn\u2019t admit his guilt, he agreed the prosecution possessed sufficient evidence to get a conviction.
